2017 Year In Review

2017 brought a lot of new things and opportunities. I was honored to be published in Motor Magazine, featured in advertising for Koni Suspension, continued to do work for Flyin' Miata and learned a lot on personal shoots. FMSC 2017

I was honored to be the official photographer for Flyin' Miata's 2017 Summer Camp Event. This year's package includes over 800 photos from all the events I could attend. Ford GT Feature

When the amazing and talented Christian Moe found out I was experimenting with making a toy Ford GT look real with nothing but my iPhone and a few stock photos, he was very interested in seeing the finished product. He liked them so much he wrote a feature of the photos with some very kind words!

Keith Tanner's Classic Austin mini

Keith Tanner knows his cars. Keith works at premier tuner Flyin' Miata and has his own small collection of Frankenstein monsters sitting in his garage at home. Besides the obvious Miata's in his possession, he also has a BMW M5, a customized V8 MGB-GT, a classic Land Rover and his classic Mini, just to name a few. Keith's owned the Austin for about 13 years, but this Mini is not your run-of-the-mill classic. This right-hand-drive 1986 base version was bought and modified with nothing but fun in mind. Featuring a built 1293cc racing engine and tiny 4-piston calipers, the peppy little rocket will make you completely forget that you aren't going as fast as you feel like you are.  And that's entirely the point. The car feels fast. Its light, responsive, and once you get used to the shifter being on the wrong side, its a complete blast to drive!

Motor Magazine Australia Feature

A few months ago I had the pleasure of documenting esteemed racing driver and journalist Brian Makse as he reviewed the Flyin' Miata V8 ND Miata. I spent the day with Brian and Keith Tanner from FM as they put the car through it's paces at the track and roads of Western Colorado. Brian's article and my photos were featured in the June issue of Motor Magazine in Australia.
